[Kim-discussion] GATE_LOCATION_DISAMBIGUATION

To whom it may concern,

I have been researching methods at which to perform disambiguation for Location Entities within GATE. As an example, I am searching for a method to differentiate Paris, France from Paris, Virginia. I spoke with one of the GATE developers who stated that Ontotext has successfully performed this task within KIM. Is there any information that you can provide me in order to perform disambiguation within GATE. Additionally, is KIM performing this function within an ontology? I would appreciate any information you could provide in regard to this matter.
