We build the best knowledge graph engine and implement custom solutions for clients. We need to deploy systems both on premise and in the cloud. We put together big amounts of data and a wide variety of software components which enable making use of that data in a smarter way.

If you’d like to bring in your Cloud Operations skills to help us define how we can do it all better, come on board and let’s grow together!

We are looking for a skilled and experienced (mid-level) Cloud Operations Engineer who will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our AWS-based infrastructure. You will be ensuring its reliability, performance, and security. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions and services.

In more detail, your responsibilities will include:

  • Management of the day-to-day operations of our cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on AWS services and Azure;
  • Implementation and maintenance of robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of our cloud resources and managed services;
  • Development of automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and maintenance processes;
  • Collaboration with software development teams to design and deploy scalable, fault-tolerant applications on AWS and Azure;
  • Optimization of cloud resource utilization and costs through capacity planning, rightsizing, and workload optimization;
  • Performing security assessments and implementing necessary measures to protect our cloud infrastructure and data;
  • Leading incident response efforts, analyzing root causes, and implementing remediation plans;
  • Mentoring and guidance of junior team members;
  • Staying current with emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices;
  • Contributing to the development and documentation of standard operating procedures and policies;

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience);
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch;
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu) and proficiency in shell scripting;
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language like Python, Bash, or PowerShell;
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet) and infrastructure-as-code frameworks (e.g., Terraform);
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes);
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls);
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis;
  • Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in a cloud environment;
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills;
