We are looking for
The Ontotext Product Development department is seeking a creative, customer-obsessed Senior UX Designer to design end-to-end experiences for GraphDB - the best enterprise knowledge graph database and for our solutions, based on semantic technologies.
In a dynamic and collaborative environment, you’ll work on all aspects of UX design including information architecture, UI design, interaction design, and prototyping deliverables. You will work closely with our product managers, software developers, and executive leadership to drive designs from vision to execution.

Your Role
- User Research: Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points. This includes user interviews, surveys, and usability testing for gathering insights;
- Information Architecture: Develop app maps, user flows, and navigation structures to ensure a logical and intuitive user journey;
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts and functionalities to stakeholders;
- Interaction Design: Design the overall interaction and user interface of digital products, including the layout of screens and elements, navigation, and user interactions;
- Visual Design: Collaborate with graphic designers or create and implement visual design elements, including typography, color schemes, icons, and graphics, to maintain brand consistency and enhance the overall aesthetics of the product;
- Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests to validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement;
- Iterative Design: Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing results, and changing project requirements;
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketers, to ensure that design concepts are feasible and aligned with project goals;
- Accessibility: Ensure that the product is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities, by following accessibility guidelines and best practices;
- Documentation: Create design documentation, including design guidelines, specifications, and style guides to ensure consistency in design implementation;
- Work in an Agile environment where teamwork is at its best, no exceptions;
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Graphic Design, HCI, or a related discipline);
- Proven experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing your work;
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar;
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices;
- Knowledge of front-end development and coding languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities;
- Knowledge of industry trends and emerging design technologies;
- Advanced English (written and spoken);
