Your Role

We are looking for a proven Strategic Account Executive to join our North American Sales Team with at least two years experience selling knowledge graph technologies and five years sales experience in data / database management industry.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience selling to large enterprise corporations and have a strong understanding of their internal and external business processes.

As Strategic Account Executive, you will drive sales of Ontotext solutions into the top enterprise strategic accounts. You will handle all aspects of the sales process including pipeline development, lead management, qualification, product evaluation, and deal closure.

Activities include:

  • Understand the key business value Ontotext provides for key stakeholders and decision makers to ensure it aligns with their personal goals and company objectives to ensure success.
  • Leverage communication skills with company and industry knowledge to articulate Ontotext’s vision and strategy, while showing Ontotext’s business value and customer impact.
  • Set and manage appropriate customer and partner expectations regarding Ontotext’s proposed solutions from presale, sale, and post-implementation.
  • Develop and lead sales pipeline generation, strategic prospecting, qualify sales opportunities and move multiple transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through strategic prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities within large enterprise accounts. Sales tools available include Marketing ABM Campaigns, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Manage and track customer and transactional information in a CRM system. We use HubSpot.
  • Deliver accurate pipeline development and forecast reporting through HubSpot.
  • Travel to customer locations throughout the country in support of sales efforts.

Your Profile

  • Seven years of full-cycle enterprise software sales experience, with proven success selling into large enterprise accounts. You’ve worked with sophisticated sales and have seven-figure deal experience. Ideally candidate will have previous success selling into Fortune 500 U.S. Institutions headquartered in the Mountain and Pacific Time Zones.
  • Experience with analytics, data, databases, predictive modeling, or business intelligence preferred. Bachelor's Degree with a technical or business focus preferred.
  • A proven record of consistent overachievement of sales goals in a large geographic territory.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an IT business or related field.
  • Strong business acumen needed to explain how Ontotext can help prospective customers meet their business objectives.
  • Ability to manage sales opportunities from the beginning to end stages throughout the sales lifecycle.
