Ontotext is proud to announce that the European Union Intellectual Property Office has just registered its GraphDB semantic graph database as a European Union Trade Mark (EUTM).
The EU-wide registration of GraphDB builds upon the trade mark for Germany that Ontotext has had so far and is valid for a number of years, until August 20, 2024.
GraphDB – Ontotext’s database serving organizations to store, organize and manage content in the form of semantically-enriched smart data – is now an EU trade mark, actively working to support enterprise business processes, conduct research in computer data files, provide access to searchable databases, and offer electronic data processing consultancy.
The freshly-EU-certified GraphDB is a non-relational (NoSQL) database handling real-time massive loads, queries, and inferencing, which gives organizations the competitive advantage to seamlessly integrate disparate data silos.
GraphDB’s customers are now not only getting a 360-degree view and approach to content and information, they are also using a database with a trade mark officially acknowledged across the European Union.
