Varna/Bulgaria Tuesday, August 27, 2019

For years, Ontotext has been sponsoring RANLP – an international scientific conference gathering top experts in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

RANLP started back in 1995 as an international summer school and evolved to become one of the recognizes as high level NLP conferences. All accepted papers are published on ACL Anthology, a corpus of scholarly publications about Computational Linguistics, which stores publications from the most competitive meet-ups in the field of NLP. The RANLP conference is held biannually in Bulgaria and this year, it will be Varna’s turn again to welcome the most prominent experts from top companies and universities around the world.

The conference includes three days of presentations and discussions from the 2nd to the 4th of September as well as a summer school, tutorials and workshops, which will talk about the latest trends in AI and NLP.

Ontotext’s experts will also present a poster: “Comparison of Machine Learning Approaches for Industry Classification Based on Textual Descriptions of Companies” by Andrey Tagarev, Nikola Tulechki and Svetla Boytcheva. The poster will show the company’s advances in NLP and other subfields of AI.
