Where to Find the S4 Team This Spring

April and May will be busy months for the S4 team, with presentations at four events planned so far.

April 27

On April 27th, Marin Dimitrov, Ontotext CTO, will present the soon-to-be-released RDF graph database as-a-service (DBaaS) part of the S4 platform at the regular colloquium of one of the most successful research groups in the area of Linked Data and Semantic Technology – the Agile Knowledge Engineering and Semantic Web (AKSW) group at the University of Leipzig, Germany.


May 20 – 22

On May 20th, Alex Simov, the team lead behind the S4 platform, will present the S4 platform at the Emerging SaaS Analytics workshop, part of the Cloud Computing and Services Science conference (CLOSER’2015) in Lisbon, Portugal. Alex will provide details on how the Self-Service Semantic Suite (S4) by Ontotext helps startups and small organizations improve their analytics by utilizing on-demand text analytics and RDF graph data management capabilities.


ESWC

May 31 – June 4

On May 31st and June 1st we’ll be presenting work related to S4 at two different workshops of the Extended Semantic Web Conference (ESWC’2015):

  • The 3rd International Workshop on Semantic Web Enterprise Adoption and Best Practices, where we’ll share the rationale and benefits of the S4 platform, as well as the challenges and lessons learned during the development and initial period of operations
  • The 2nd Semantic Web Developers workshop, where we’ll provide more technical details about the RDF graph DBaaS implementation of S4, and how it is currently utilized for the development of an EC funded Open Data publishing platform within the DaPaaS project

Between Jun 2nd and 4th, Ontotext will have an exhibition booth at the ESWC conference, so you’re welcome to stop by and learn more about the Self-Service Semantic Suite, or about other technologies by Ontotext for metadata management and content analytics in the area of Media and Publishing, or Healthcare and Life Sciences.
