Research Projects

Ontotext was initially established as a research lab in 2000. The company’s commercial successes have their roots in our dedication to championing research and innovation. Since our founding, we have taken part in more than 50 EU research projects spanning across various industries and domains. We are currently involved in several Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects aiming to boost Europe’s innovation capacity.

We take pride in the fact that we were the most successful Bulgarian participant in EU Framework Programmes FP5, FP6 and FP7. In 2010 the Bulgarian Ministry of Education, Youth and Science awarded us with the prestigious Pythagorean Science Prize for a company that had successfully mastered new scientific developments for the benefit of society.
